ABOUT SMGT
About SMGT Logistics
A boutique freight forwarder built on personal relationships, global reach and 17 years of hands-on logistics experience.
Our Story
SMGT Logistics was established in 2007 with a simple idea: freight forwarding should feel personal, not transactional. Today we are registered as Saxmad General Trading (Pty) Ltd, trading as SMGT Logistics, and continue to operate on that same founding principle — every client gets a dedicated point of contact, not a call centre queue.
Where mega-logistics corporations offer scale, we offer agility: transparent pricing, fast decision-making and a global network of partners we know personally.
Whether it's a single pallet or a 72-tonne piece of mining equipment, we manage it with the same level of care.
